Born in Romania, he moved to Spain in 2002 with a research scholarship in the sacred-musical field.

He studies as a baritone for the Master of Operatic Performance at the “Joaquín Rodrigo” Superior Conservatory of Music in Valencia with teacher Ofelia Sala. In 2016 he completed his higher education in singing at the same conservatory with the soprano Charo Vallés and the repertoireists Diego Sánchez, Elizabete Sirante and Vicente David Martín.

 

He perfects his vocal technique with the baritone David Menéndez and complements his training by receiving classes from the soprano Elena Mosuc. He also participates in master classes taught by Ana Luisa Chova and Evghenia Dudenkova.

 

He has been awarded a scholarship in the 2011-2012 season by the “Plácido Domingo Improvement Center” at the Palau de les Arts “Reina Sofía” where he has participated in the productions: “Le nozze di Figaro”, “Dido & Aeneas” and “Opérame ”, working with Juan Luis Martínez, Ruggero Raimondi, Jean-Luois Grinda and Philipp Himmelmann.

 

In the professional field we highlight his participation and collaboration in opera productions such as “Fidelio” and “Aida” at the Teatro Real in Madrid, “Simon Boccanegra” at the Teatro Liceu in Barcelona, “Don Carlo” at the Opera de Bordeaux, “ Faust” at the Campoamor Theater in Oviedo, “Aida” at the Palau de les Arts “Reina Sofía,” “Lucia di Lammermoor” at the Mahón Theater, etc.

His recent solo activity includes performances of Fauré's Requiem, Carl Orff's Carmina Burana and Giuseppe Verdi's Traviata in the role of Giorgio Germont at Palau de la Música in Valencia. He also participated, dressed as a flamenco deputy, in “Don Carlo” by G. Verdi, sharing the stage with Plácido Domingo and Violeta Urmana at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia. We include his participation in concerts and operas organized by the Palau de la Música of Valencia and Castellón Auditorium, having worked with directors such as: Michel Plasson, Cristobal Soler or Fabio Biondi among others.

In the didactic field he develops his activity as a teacher of singing, vocal technique and interpretation in various educational centers and conservatories. At the university level he has taught three interdisciplinary modules of music, literature and philosophy at Florida Universitária, Catarroja. He has also worked in the research department of the San Vicente Mártir Catholic University developing cataloging and systematization projects of historical archives.
