A native of Valencia, he began his musical studies at the CIM of Mislata and continued them at the Conservatories of Valencia and Madrid.

 

In 1982 he obtained a position as Musician Non-Commissioned Officer.

In 1986 he became part of the European Community Youth Orchestra.

In 1987 he obtained a place in the Body of Music and Performing Arts Teachers by competitive examination.

He has been a Professor by opposition at the José Iturbi Municipal Conservatory of Valencia.

In 1991 he became a soloist of the Valencia Symphony Orchestra.

From 2004 to August 2016 he has been Professor and Secretary of the “Salvador Seguí” Higher Conservatory of Music in Castellón.

He is currently a Professor at the José Manuel Izquierdo Conservatory of Catarroja.

He is also a founding member of the Grup Instrumental de Valencia, with which he won the National Music Award (Performance) 2005 and Importante Levante 2006.

In 2006 and 2008 he was the artistic director and member of the Jury of the Cristhian Lindberg International Competition, performing together with the aforementioned international trombonist in the closing concerts of said events and with the trombonists J.Alessi, J.Van Rijen and M.Bequect .

In the 2007/2008 season he was Guest Soloist in the Navarra Symphony Orchestra.

In 2012 he performed as Concertista in Türkiye with the Cukurova Senfoni Orqkestasi.

In 2013 and 2014 he toured Bulgaria together with violinist Vasko Vassilev.

In 2014 he went on the Toyota Tour throughout Southeast Asia with the Covent Garden Soloist Orchestra.

In 2015 he was a Professor and performed as a concert pianist at the Italian Low Brass Festival.

Since 2014 he has been an Artist for the prestigious German Miraphone, collaborating with them in the development and perfection of the MB 6600 trombone.

He has collaborated with the following musical groups: Municipal Bands of La Coruña, Madrid and Valencia and the Symphony Orchestras of Madrid, City of Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, European, Mediterranean, Collegium Instrumentale, ORTVE, Swedish Wind Ensemble, National of Indonesia, Covent Garden Soloist Orchestra etc
